The Elizabeth - When size matter
We are thrilled to announce the launch of our newest lamp design from our in-house Industrial design team, Elizabeth. The Elizabeth heralds the beginning of a new era of prolific creativity, design, and productivity at NEOZ.
Designers Peter Ellis, Gabriel Tam and James Perry set out to reinterpret one of NEOZ’s bestselling and beloved lamps, the Victoria. The objective was to retain the elegance and refinement of the Victoria design while celebrating the opportunity that scale presents.
Standing at a substantial 56cm high and 27cm in diameter, The Elizabeth draws people in. Creating focus, mood and ambiance to any entryway or point of interest for restaurants and hotels. A perfect companion piece to the Victoria cordless lamp.
BRASS DESIGN
Created by hot forging and custom extrusions process, the solid brass body of the Elizabeth is CNC machined, and polished for a deep lustre.
There are two surface finish options, raw polished brass or aged brass.
The aged brass body option is achieved by applying a proprietary rapid chemical aging process to the brass body. The result is an authentic ‘living’ finish where the surface will continue to evolve as you use the lamp.
Both options offer a deep golden-bronze hue which elevates a space and adds warmth and class.
LAMPSHADES
There are 4 lampshade options available:
- Cotton in cone;
- Cotton in drum;
- Pleated silk in cone;
- Pleated silk in drum.
The handmade cotton lampshade offers a relaxed and muted style against the brass body, or the pleated silk shade offers a textured and accented illumination.
Alternatively, you can order The Elizabeth with no shade, allowing you the option to create and add bespoke lampshades to suit your style and space. Talk to our team if you would like to know more about bespoke and custom options.
BATTERY AND HOW TO RECHARGE
It’s simple and easy. Dock the lamp on the single charger to recharge or illuminate the light using mains power.
Powered by Japanese-made Panasonic lithium-ion battery cells, providing 22 hours on the brightest light level and up to 100 hours of operating time on a single charge this battery is a powerhouse. The typical charging time is approximately 11 hours.

The Elizabeth stands at a sizable 56cm high and 27cm in diameter. At twice the size, The Elizabeth is the perfect companion to our smaller cordless lamp, The Victoria. Whether together as a single showpiece Its presence creates a memorable welcome for all restaurant, bar or hotel patrons.

All parts of this cordless lamp are replaceable and recyclable, with technical support readily available by email at service@neoz.com.au.
Every NEOZ cordless lamp is designed in-house and assembled by our product team in Sydney, Australia.
For our international retail & commercial customers, we can organise a door-to-door service with all the necessary importation paperwork including a certificate of origin to ensure a smooth delivery. We use DHL or FedEx for all our international delivery.

Never one to rest on their laurels, NEOZ’s in-house team has created a new ‘Victoria’ variant by marrying the timeless elegance of a hand-blown glass lampshade with the luxury solid brass body design. 
GLASS LAMPSHADES
The new hand-blown ribbed glass lampshades give this classy cordless lamp a fresh look, providing an alternative to the current range of fabric lampshades.
Three glass lampshade options are available – Green, Amber and Frosted.
Green – Inspired by the colour palette of the vintage banker’s lamp, we have a striking tinted dark green glass lampshade in place of the traditional solid green trough shade.
Amber – The glass lampshade in amber produces a warm orange glow. This vibrant option pairs perfectly with earthy tones to make any space warm and inviting.
Frosted – A refreshing design that adds a muted accent to any design space, the frosted glass lampshade is the perfect choice if you want your cordless lamp to blend into the surrounding space seamlessly.

The NEOZ cordless lamp was born out of a unique need in the hospitality industry. In 1995 we were working on the lighting design for Penfold Wine’s Magill Estate restaurant in the Adelaide hills with Sydney architects Allen Jack+Cottier. A major challenge with restaurant lighting is their need to move tables around and still illuminate them appropriately; we were tasked with designing an electric lamp with no cord to solve this problem.
To this day, NEOZ cordless lamps are the sought-after choice for many prestigious hotels and award-winning restaurants.
